Create a Subscription to a Custom View

A permissioned user may create Subscriptions for Custom View settings. 

To create a View, begin at Step 1; if the View exists, access the view then begin at Step 5.

1.    Select and open a Dashboard screen.

2.    Click on the  (filter) funnel and use the options to select Filters.  Options vary based on your location and permissions in the system.

3.    Click the View button (top of screen) to create Custom View with selected Filter options.

a.    Enter characters in the “Name this view” field. 

b.    Optionally, click in the check box to “Make it my default.”

c.     Click the Save button and the Custom View is created.

4.    Once a custom view is Saved, the dashboard refreshes the display based on the selections.

5.    Click the Subscribe button (top of screen) to initiate the Create Subscriptions feature.

6.    Provide all details in the Subscription dialog box.

a.    Remember:  when populating the Message field, include specific information (e.g., Sponsor/Protocol/Project).  This detail allows subscribed users to see specific information about the view when the system sends the scheduled subscription.

7.    Click the Subscribe button (bottom of dialog box) to complete the process.

8.    An onscreen message displays when the process completes.

9.    The system sends subscribed Users an email that includes “the View” in the Format (image, PDF, Image, and PDF) that was selected for the subscription.

a.    Image:  a static image of the View displays in body of the email.

b.    PDF:  a PDF that contains a static image of the View is attached to the email.

c.     Image and PDF:  a static image of the View displays in body of the email and a PDF that contains a static image of the View is attached to the email.
